The 38th annual UMass Dartmouth Cross Country Invitational will occur on  Saturday Sept 18th 2010 at the Tripp athleltic Center located at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. All proceeds after costs goes to support the Aleppo Shriners Transportation Fund which provides funds to allow for free transportation of children to the Shriners Hospitals for Children where they will receive world-class pediatric care in the areas of burns, orthopedics, spinal cord injuries, cleft lip and palette care all without financial obligation to patients or their families.   Parking will be available in parking lot 7 at Umass Dartmouth. The day’s events begin at 10:30 when over 1000 of the top NCAA Division III male and female cross country runners and teams from throughout New England participate in New England’s largest and longest country cross event.  A number of Shriners will be on hand to help and to provide information, along with 2 of the world-famous Shriner’s Clowns who be entertaining the crowds.
