On occasion area businesses, organizations, and individuals offer  to host a fundraising event for the Shriners Hospitals for Children & or the Aleppo Shriners Patient Transportation Fund. This assistance is greatly appreciated by the members of the Shrine who volunteer a great deal of their time because they firmly believe in this cause.
